Lovely colour, but doesn't stay on (Rose Caress)

Posted by Suzi on 20th Oct 2018

I was hoping to get more of a rose than Tea Rose, which has the best lasting ability of all the BWC lipsticks I've tried. This one is more rose, but doesn't really last longer than an hour or two, before re-application is needed. It's a shame, because the colour is great! This is when I'm sitting in my office, talking to clients, so it's not as if I'm doing anything too intense. Maybe I got a bad batch this time around, as the other reviews are good.

Gorgeous colour, fun and summery (Sweet Pea 78)

Posted by Suzi on 20th Oct 2018

I've worn this a few times since it arrived, and have loved its fun, light colour. It stays on quite well, and is very moisturising.

Love this colour and its resilience (Tea Rose 54)

Posted by Suzi on 20th Oct 2018

Out of all the BWC lipsticks I've tried (I must have tried at least 8 so far), this is the most versatile and stays on best. It goes with pink and red clothing, and stays on for hours and hours. This colour is a staple in my bathroom.

    Rose Caress (Rose Caress)

Posted by Lynn on 9th Oct 2018

I like the idea of using makeup which is cruelty free and vegan but initially thought this lipstick range wasn’t going to suit me, after trying colours like Pomegranate and Rosehip, which were far too bright and fluorescent. However, I was pleased to find Rose Caress which isn't such a vivid colour. It's a rosy pink shade, subtle and suitable for day time, but not too pale or colourless. The colour lasts well and the formula's quite moisturising. Will definitely purchase again.
(I wish sample sizes were available to buy so that you could try the colours first)

Subtle, Pretty Colour (Blueberry Coulis 46)

Posted by Unknown on 7th Oct 2018

I was pleasantly surprised with this lipstick shade which is a pinky plum and not quite as dark or vibrant as the photo suggests. It is subtle enough to be worn during the day but has enough pigment to produce a nice soft but visible colour for evening. It's a bit like Rosewood but not as dark. It's a moisturising lipstick and stays on quite well

    Lipstick (Wild Watermelon 57)

Posted by Unknown on 26th Sep 2018

I am a creature of habit and have been using the wild watermelon coloured lipstick for a long time. You do have to keep replenishing it but it is very moisturising which I need. Beauty without cruelty product is the way forward.

The ideal lipstick in texture and colour! (Reckless Ruby 47)

Posted by Angelique Vagopoulou on 25th Sep 2018

I have been using this colour from BWC for years on. It is amazing as it is hydrating with a mild sheer. It does not dry the lips and lasts fairly long. Most importantly it does not contain nasty ingredients. Ideal if your lips have a darker colour.

Super warm toned red (Day Lily 55)

Posted by Bell on 13th Aug 2018

Beautiful color which looks great with ginger/red hair. Warm toned, easy to wear everyday. I got already different type of red and it was Ripe Cherry and it was more bright and slightly cool toned so I decided to get Day Lilly to match my complexion better. It works. It's not as bright, not like blood rather like tomato red with hint of brick red. Love it. Texture is smooth and creamy as always. BWC lipsticks are one of my best. I have 10 of them!
Love to support cruelty free company that is also vegan. Stay this way BWC !!!!
